support for the nations

This page of my Blog is deticated to raising awareness of the Nations. Sometimes it can be easy to get caught up in our own lives and not be aware of what is going on in other parts of the world. As I connect with organizations around the world I am going to tell you about them, and put a link with their description so you can learn more. Whether you're looking to be a prayer partner with a new ministry or you're looking for ways to help, check these ministries out.

Sole Hope

Mentioned in a previous Blog, Sole Hope is a great ministry in Uganda, I have had the chance to connect with over the past couple of years. They strive to provide for Children, Adults, and Families in Africa, so they may lead healthier lives.

Mission Statement:

"Our Mission is offering HOPE, healthier lives, and freedom from foot-related diseases through education, jobs, and medical relief."

Amazima Ministries

Amazima is another Ministry in Uganda that does relief work (keeping others alive) and development work (helping others live healthier, more productive lives)- while sharing the Gospel. I found out about this amazing ministry through a book I read called "Kisses from Katie" by Katie Davis, founder and Chief Visionary of Amazima Ministries. You can get involved by sharing, giving and praying, plus-on their website, you can even find out how to sponsor a Child.

Mission Statement:

"Helping to educate and empower the people of Uganda with God's love."

Hands&Feet Project (HAFP)

In the summer of 2004, the members of Christian music group, Audio Adrenaline, founded the Hands and Feet Project. The Project, inspired by fan reaction to the song “Hands and Feet”, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing family-style, residential care for children in crisis.  Hands and Feet has orphanages that provide children with clothing, to meet the dress code at school, food, shelter, and a caregiver.

Mission Statement:

"Caring for the orphaned and abandoned, keeping families together."
